Co-curricular Activities form the bedrock of harmonious and holistic development, necessary for moulding and shaping a child’s personality. We provide a broad exposure through a plethora of activities to enable our students develop their latent talents and to nurture in them an appreciation of different forms of art. The academic horizons are widened through unabated opportunities to showcase talents, encouraging the students to reach monumental heights.

Dance

Dance evokes a greater awareness of self. The Salwanians experience the joy of communicating emotions and feelings through graceful movements, postures, expressions and gestures. The aesthetic pursuit helps to build their self-confidence whilst nurturing their talents. Specialized training is offered in the following dance forms:

Music

Music is the universal language of mankind. Music classes at Salwan focus on developing the core skills of performing, composing, listening and appreciating music from diverse cultural origins. Skilled professionals train young Salwanians to acquire skills and finesse. Students learn to use musical instruments for discovering elements of music such as pitch, rhythm, articulation, dynamics, tempo, song form and meter. The Specialized Music Coaching Programme offered at Salwan includes the following forms of Music :

Fine Arts

Training in Fine Arts at Salwan focuses on inspiring students to appreciate myriad hues of beauty by perceiving the world in a unique way. Creativity, imagination and originality colour the canvas of life at Salwan as young artists experience aesthetic pleasure blended with the freedom of expression. The budding artists are motivated not only to adorn the school campus but also endeavour to beautify the city. The Salwanians have been transforming the face of the city by creating ingenious murals to adorn the metro pillars.

Sports

Sports is an integral part of our school curriculum. In addition to building a robust physique, it imparts children with important lessons in teamwork, time management, self-discipline and comradeship. The school takes pride in providing its students a world class infrastructure and specialised training in Sports like Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket, Athletics, Chess, Golf, Yoga and Table Tennis. The accomplishment of this idea is reflected in our budding sports stars who have excelled at the various competitions year after year.
