From May 27 to June 2, 2024, a group of 32 students, accompanied by mentors Mr. Ganesh Chandra, Ms. Rekha Sharma, and Ms. Subita Gandhi, embarked on an adventurous trek to Dyara Bugyal.
The journey began in Delhi, heading to Dehradun, where the scenic beauty and pleasant climate provided a perfect start. Travelling to Uttarkashi, the group stayed at a resort near the Bhagirathi River, surrounded by greenery, offering a tranquil preparation for the trek ahead.
The ascent to Dyara Bugyal, at 11,000 feet, was challenging yet immensely rewarding. The students showed remarkable team spirit, leadership, mental toughness, resilience, and perseverance. Reaching the summit, they proudly unfurled the national flag.
The trek concluded with a bonfire and DJ night, where everyone celebrated their accomplishments, shared experiences, and formed lasting bonds. More than just an adventure, the trek was a profound learning experience, imparting valuable life lessons and fostering a sense of achievement and growth. This extraordinary journey combined the thrill of adventure with the beauty of nature, leaving every participant with cherished memories and enduring lessons.
