The school celebrated the 74th Republic Day of India and Basant Panchami in the school premises with immense fervour, zeal, and reverence. The event was graced by the presence of Major General Sanjeev Shukla, VSM (Retd.), Director, Ms. Priyanka Barara, Principal, and Ms. Jyotsna Grover, Vice Principal. Heartfelt prayers to the Goddess of knowledge were offered and the contribution of the Indian Armed Forces was remembered on the occasion. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolour flag. The entire school was decked up in the mesmerising shades of the tricolour. The celebration was further adorned with a scintillating dance performance by the talented performers of our school and a soulful rendition of a patriotic song by the school choir.
Maj Gen Sanjeev Shukla VSM (Retd.), Director, SPS in his address enlightened the students about the significance of this day and motivated all to nurture the emotions of compassion and respect towards each other. The grand celebration culminated with an enchanting folk dance performance by the students. Saraswati Pooja was also organised on the school campus on this special occasion. Salwanians pledged to uphold the honour, dignity, and diversity of our nation on this occasion.
