The school hosted a two-day Photography Skill Development Workshop on the 26th and 27th of December 2023. The workshop was led by Mr. Hiroo Keswani, a proud alumnus from the batch of 1980. As a graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, Mr. Keswani has an impressive portfolio that includes shooting feature films, advertisements, and TV series.
Students from all schools on campus participated in these dynamic sessions, gaining insights into the nuances of photography. Mr. Keswani was accompanied by Mr. Avinash Agarwal, a distinguished photographer. Mr. Agarwal educated the students on various aspects of photography, such as managing light and shadow, the importance of having a focal point in a photograph, and how to maintain the desired exposure.
Prior to the workshop, students had the privilege of visiting the Museo Camera Centre for the Photographic Arts. This visit allowed them to appreciate the evolution of cameras and the history of photography. This workshop equipped the students with practical knowledge that can be applied beyond the classroom, broadening their horizons and presenting new opportunities for exploration.
