Former director of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad,
Senior Lecturer and C. Roland Christensen Distinguished Management Educator at Harvard Business School. He is course head for the MBA Required Curriculum course in Strategy and teaches courses in leadership, strategy, and professional services in MBA Elective Curriculum and several executive education programs.
From 2013 to 2017, he was Director of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Before joining IIMA, he was Robert Braucher Professor of Practice at Harvard Law School, where he established the executive education program and set up a case center.
Dr. Nanda’s has published more than 120 case studies and course notes and has worked extensively with professional service and human capital intensive organizations.
Holds a PhD in Business Economics (Harvard), an AM in Economics (Harvard), a PGDM in Management (IIM Ahmedabad), and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (IIT Delhi).
Has received C. Roland Christensen Distinguished Management Educator designation, IIT Delhi Distinguished Alumni Award, Henry B. Arthur Fellowship, Harvard University Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics Faculty Fellowship, President of India Gold Medal (twice), and IIMA Director’s Gold Medal.
