The School celebrated the 75th Independence Day and Investiture Ceremony on 13th August, 2021 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. It was streamed live on YouTube which witnessed the attendance of over 1500 viewers.
Major General (Retd.) Sanjeev Shukla, Director, Smt. Priyanka Barara, Principal, Smt. Jyotsna Grover, Vice Principal and Smt. Rashi Oberoi, Headmistress graced the occasion with their valuable presence. The celebrations began with the hoisting of the tricolor by the Director, Principal and Headmistress. In his address, Major General (Retd.) Sanjeev Shukla, reiterated the importance of dedication and love for our nation. He implored the young citizens to pledge perseverance, perspiration and dedication towards their set goals. He also asserted that each individual should pledge to be a great Indian, dutiful citizen and a noble human being. It was followed by a cultural programme wherein students from different classes enthralled all with their mesmerizing renditions and dance performance.
The newly elected Student Council was also administered the Oath of Office on this solemn occasion. The zealous council members pledged to uphold the integrity of the Nation, School and the responsibility that was bestowed upon them. The Head Boy, Aryan Sharma, promised a productive and fun-filled year ahead. Mrs Priyanka Barara congratulated the young leaders and encouraged them to strive hard to become good role models for the rest of the school. She further added that they should proceed by setting small goals to achieve desirable targets. She concluded her address with a patriotic poem, resonating the message of love for the nation. The celebrations culminated with the vote of thanks moved by the Head Girl Sumedha Longani.
