Commonwealth Connections

A special assembly was organised by Salwan Public School Rajendra Nagar on 18th February, 2022 with John Henry Newman Catholic College, UK (in virtual mode) to collaborate in Commonwealth Connections International Exchange Programme. The theme taken up for this engagement was Climate Change (in India & UK) and Sustainability. The programme was steered to reiterate the values enshrined in Part 9 and 10 of the Commonwealth Charter.

In spite of the diverse set ups and differentiated roles, both the schools collaborated and arrived at a firm resolve to protect and conserve the environment. The ensemble turned out to be a fruitful engagement for all the students in their capacity as change-makers and ambassadors of a sustainable future.
