Salwan Public School with its rich legacy of 70 years has always endeavored to nurture leaders of tomorrow, ready to take on the challenges of the world. The Investiture Ceremony is not just about decorating students but to confer responsibility for taking this great institution forward.
The ‘Investiture Ceremony’ for the academic year 2024-2025 was held on 18 May 2024 in the school amphitheater. Excitement was evident as the bright faces of the selected student council members marched into the gathering. The highlight of the event was the presence of three illustrious alumni of the school, Ms Meghna Chaddha – Journalist, Mr Jatin Kumar – an Advocate and Sergeant Shivam Shukla who decorated the newly invested Student Council with ties and scarfs in the esteemed presence of Major General Retd. Sanjeev Shukla, VSM, Director ,Ms. Priyanka Barara, Principal,Ms Jyotsna Grover, Vice Principal and Ms Charu Lal ,Vice Principal.
The members of the Student Council were administered the oath by the outgoing Head Boy Sarthak Sehgal wherein they pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honour and glory of the institution. The Head Boy Dev Sharma and Head Girl Mansi Choudhary promised to live up to the expectations of the school and fulfill all responsibilities to the best of their abilities.
Our Special Guests in their heartfelt address thanked their Alma mater for inviting them back to the school and shared their memorable experiences at the school. They also guided the students to keep their friendships strong ,not to take anything for granted and embrace the spirit of learning the best in school.
