Unlocking Minds: A Journey Through the Psychology Internship

The students of Class XII, Psychology participated in an Internship Programme at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh from 3 July 2024 to 8 July 2024. The programme provided a comprehensive introduction to the field of psychology, blending theoretical knowledge with practical experience. 

The students engaged in experiential learning across various key areas, including exploring the role of a therapist, developing an understanding of mental disorders, and acquiring knowledge of diverse career paths in psychology.

Students also explored the concept of human behaviour in societal contexts, application of therapeutic approaches with a focus on the importance of community mental health and strategies for improvement, including awareness programs and life skill training.

The internship was a valuable and educational experience, enhancing students’ understanding of psychology and preparing them for future careers in the field.
