Thrill, Excitement, Enthusiasm were some of the words that echoed throughout the campus as the school hosted ‘Udaan…towards new horizons’, a kaleidoscopic presentation of skills and talents of class XI students in the scholastic and co-scholastic domains, on Friday, 15 December 2023.
The guests of honour for the occasion, Sh. Hitender Dewan, an experienced financial executive, Alumnus 1988 batch and Sh. Madhav Sharma, a Creative Media Professional, Performing Artist, and Alumnus 2011 batch graced the school and interacted with the students.
Mrs. Priyanka Barara, Principal while welcoming the distinguished guests and parents, said that these presentations aimed at promoting an open mind set for children to nurture their talents. The cultural programme included a Musical Symphony on Raag Khamaj, a Contemporary Dance Mosaic ‘Journey of Life’ and a Nukkad Natak ‘Udaan – Ek Nayi Disha ki Ore’ based on the National Education Policy -2020 had the students receiving a thunderous applause from all present.
Achievers in both the scholastic and co-scholastic domains were felicitated on the occasion. The cultural programme was followed by an exhibition showcasing the creativity and talents of the students. The students from the Science stream had put various working models such as the Boss Model of Resonance, Green Building Bamboo Wall Water Treatment Plant, among others. The budding entrepreneurs from the Business Blasters Club set up counters of beautiful DIY (Do it Yourself) Planters, Cloth bags made in-house, and Bio Enzyme Cleaners. The Heritage Club -Upnidhi exhibited beautiful artefacts and woodwork prepared by the students. The vote of thanks was moved by Mrs. Jyotsna Grover, Vice-principal.
