Assessment is the key component of learning as it determines whether the goals of education are being met. It provides timely and informative feedback to students and motivates them towards self-improvement.
At Salwan, the endeavour is to provide an inclusive and an enabling environment to all children with varied needs. We firmly believe that each and every child has the ability to learn and maximize his/her potential through adequate learning opportunities, effective teaching and appropriate resources.
The school has adopted WHO’s guidelines of ten core life skills, which are Self-awareness, Decision-making, Effective communication, Problem-solving, Empathy, Critical thinking, Creative thinking, Interpersonal relationship, Coping with stress and emotion.
Students exchange programmes propel students towards acceptance and understanding of an array of different cultural and community perspectives. They help in developing a global outlook through myriad opportunities of collaboration.
A Theatre Workshop was organized for the students of Class II on 13th July, 2021. The workshop aimed at developing creativity, critical thinking and problem solving ability among the students. The resource person integrated art with drama to help them explore their own creativity. Students were actively engaged as they received hands-on experience in creating a new creature stick puppet. The session was a great learning experience for them.
