Screening of Chandrayaan 3 Landing

On August 23rd, a captivating and informative event unfolded at the school, where students, parents, and teachers gathered to witness the screening of the Chandrayaan 3 lunar landing. Chandrayaan 3, India’s third lunar exploration mission, aimed to achieve a gentle landing on the Moon’s surface, contributing to scientific research and technological progress.

The event commenced at 5:15 pm in the Senior Library, and an air of anticipation filled the room as students, accompanied by their parents, joined in. The event began with a concise introduction and a video showcasing past lunar missions. This was followed by an exploration of the making of Chandrayaan 3, its objectives, and its role in India’s space journey.

The highlight of the event was the screening of the actual Chandrayaan 3 landing attempt. The video showcased the spacecraft’s journey stages, from its trajectory and lunar orbit insertion to the final descent onto the lunar surface.
