Salwan Freedom Run

As a part of a series of celebratory events to commemorate the momentous 75th year of Independence, Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar organized the Salwan Freedom Run on Saturday, 13th August 2022. The 3Km run commenced from the school campus at 6.30 a.m. and culminated at the Talkatora Garden Roundabout at 7.10 a.m. The run was flagged off by Maj. Gen. Sandeep Sinha, SM, VSM (Retd.) CEO, Salwan Education Trust and included 250 participants from G.D. Salwan Public School, Salwan Girls Sr.Sec. School, Salwan Boys Sr. Sec.School apart from the students, Principal Smt. Priyanka Barara and staff of the host school. The enthusiastic runners chanted slogans in praise of our motherland that reverberated in the entire course of the run enthralling each and every passer-by. The run not only aimed at celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav but also at promoting the building of a fitter and healthier India. The run is one of the many endeavours of the school to instil in our students an unflinching pride for our nation.
