From 5th June to 10th June 2023, the students of Class 12th had the opportunity to participate in a summer internship program on psychology at Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh. The program was conducted by the mental health team at Fortis, which included counsellors, clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists.
During the internship, each day introduced a new topic related to psychology, providing valuable knowledge and awareness to the students. The sessions were interactive and engaging, allowing the students to actively participate and learn. The program also provided practical experiences, enabling the students to understand and navigate real-life situations related to mental health.
Overall, the internship program played a crucial role in enhancing the students’ understanding of psychology as a subject and as a potential profession. It instilled a sense of awareness about mental health and how the field of psychology can contribute to personal growth and well-being.
