It’s our proud moment to share that after the successful completion of Desh aur Hum held last year, Salwan Education Trust in association with the National Academy of Direct Taxes is organizing Desh Aur Hum 2.0
The Orientation Programme for the mega event was held at Mount Carmel School on 7th July 2023. The event aimed to promote tax awareness and highlight the importance of citizen participation in nation-building. The event commenced with an inspiring address by Shri Sushil Dutt Salwan, Chairman, Salwan Education Trust, who emphasised the significance of recognizing our individual roles in shaping the nation. He stressed that every citizen, regardless of age, holds a crucial position in the development of the country. He also reiterated the various benefits provided by the government in exchange for the taxes paid, urging attendees to view taxes not as a burden but as an obligation and contribution to society.
The event served as an orientation for a series of competitions that will be held at a pan-India level, covering various themes and it left a lasting impact on all participants.
