Generation Global – Video Conferencing with the students from India, Indonesia,
Ukraine and the Philippines

Students of classes X and XII participated in an engaging video conference with students from four countries: India, Indonesia, Ukraine and the Philippines on 18 May 2023. The participating educational institutions were Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, G.D. Goenka Public School, Model Town, City Montessori School, Lucknow from India, South Mansfield College, Philippines, Southville International School, Philippines and MAN 2 Kota Malang, Indonesia.

The module discussed was ‘Identity and Belonging’, wherein students discussed and learnt various aspects related to the topic in the session facilitated by Ms Wati Wardani from Philippines. The Video conferencing session extended the reach of the classroom globally, making it possible for students from around the world to connect and view events and situations from different perspectives, thereby making them more tolerant.

The following students proactively participated in the session by Tony Blair’s Institute of Global Citizenship Education Programme ‘Generation Global’:

Class XII – Kriti Kedia, Avnee Pareek, Yogita Mittal, Pakshalika Chaurasia, Vanshika Agora, Smriti Dogra, Vaanya Singhal, Megha Sharma, Pallavi Malwani, Avika Chawla, Tvisha Kalia, Aryan and Class X – Manas Chawla.
