Salwan Public School organized an adventure camp on 4th March 2024 for kindergarteners in collaboration with trained adventure sports experts. It was aimed to provide stimulating and enriching outdoor experience to the tiny toddlers. The camp with fun-filled adventure activities, setup in the school grounds amidst nature and lush green environment, focused on fostering teamwork, building confidence, and instilling a love for nature.
The Adventure Camp has become one of the key events in the school annual calendar, much awaited by young students every year. The sheer joy and excitement radiated by the learners from Nursery and Pre-Primary, as they engaged in adventure sports activities, was truly captivating to witness.
The school playground transformed into an adventure zone with a potpourri of age-specific activities such as ziplining, tug of war, commando net climbing, Burma Bridge crossing, magic show, commando crawling and many more. Conducted in a completely safe and controlled environment, the activities are targeted at developing team spirit, camaraderie, confidence, perseverance, and leadership skills.
Through a blend of outdoor exploration and teamwork, the camp fostered holistic development and a deep appreciation for the natural world by the participants. It served as a testament to the transformative power of experiential learning and outdoor adventure in shaping young minds.
