Commonwealth Connections
The school in collaboration with the British Council India and the Birmingham Organizing Committee for the 2022 Commonwealth Games took up the joint project of Commonwealth Connections in September 2021.
As a part of this year-long journey, our school along with 5 other schools from Delhi NCR, was twinned with 6 schools in the West Midlands with counterparts from the Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. This association was undertaken under the guidance of the British Council in alliance with the Birmingham Education Partnership (BEP) and the Youth Sport Trust (YST).
The year-long journey involved multiple engagements including class connect, yoga and sports exchange, food and recipes exchange, arts, and cultural exchange with a focus on commonwealth values and themes. It was a great learning experience for the students and staff of the school as they networked their way with other leading schools in Delhi, NCR and the West Midlands.
