The students of Class IX had an interactive session on 6th April 2022 with Ms. Lynn Moten, Service Learning, Wellbeing and Resilience Expert from Australia on Building Resilience.
In her session, she talked about strategies to build resilience and explore opportunities to serve others. She shared the significance of morality infused with empathy as a vital criterion to develop leadership and resilience. She elaborated on the traits of authentic people. These included acceptance, integrity, courage, forgiveness and introspection. The students were also told about the importance of effective communication to be practised at all levels to generate collaborative efforts for maximum results.
Later in the day, she interacted with teachers of the school and spoke about building resilience in the students enabling them to become empathetic global citizens. She emphasised on building strong relationships for maximising the impact of our teaching.
