Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

To commemorate  Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the School organised a host of activities for the students across all classes. To mark the 75th year of Indian independence, students of classes V & VI participated in a Poster Making Competition on the theme of nationalism and patriotism. Similarly students of class VII developed Bookmarks with a message to encourage each one of us to  take our nation to greater heights. The students of class VIII participated in Wise Verse and dedicated their self composed poems on the following sub themes.

• ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ – INDIA @75
•  ‘Taxes empower Nation Building’
•  ‘India’s Glory’ – Presentation of culture and Heritage
•  ‘Good Governance’ – Need of the hour

The best entries of these events will be uploaded for the inter-school event Desh aur Hum. Through these activities an effort was made to inculcate the feeling of patriotism amongst the young learners at Salwan.
