The school organized a ‘No Bag Day’ for classes VI to IX and XI on Saturday, December 14, 2024, offering a blend of sports, counseling sessions, and a movie screening.
The day commenced with engaging activities such as relay races, hoopla, and tug of war, which were met with enthusiastic participation and excitement. This was followed by a counselling session in the library, conducted by the school counsellor, Sushri Bharti Kumari, along with NIPCCD counsellors Sushri Harjyot Kaur, Sushri Sulochna Arora, and intern counsellor Sushri Mahima Makhija. The session focused on addressing adolescent challenges and relationships, fostering open communication among students.
Students of classes IX and XI then enjoyed watched Eight Below, a 2006 film based on a true story of survival in Antarctica, fostering the values of perseverance and empathy for animals.
The day provided a refreshing break from the routine, encouraging rejuvenation while promoting vital life skills such as teamwork and discipline. It was a highly successful day, leaving students eagerly anticipating similar initiatives in the future.
