As a part of the Educational Exchange Programme with Australia, eight girls accompanied by two teachers from Seymour College, Adelaide arrived on 19th January 2018. They were given a traditional welcome with Tilak ceremony and flowers. After an ice-breaking session with the Student Council they participated in the Morning Assembly where they presented group songs and also sang their National Anthem. The teachers: Ms.Lynne Moten and Ms.Emma Weber also addressed the students.

The Australian students attended a workshop on Advertising in the Mass Media Lab. The students were divided into three groups. Each group took up a product and prepared a storybord for the same. Then they performed the advertisement live infront of the whole group.

This was followed by a session on Indian Dance-forms. Here the Australian students learnt about the Rajasthani folk-dance: Ghoomer and the Punjabi Bhangra. They thoroughly enjoyed the session.

After lunch, they were taken for a visit to Dilli Haat where they could have a glimpse of the diverse Indian handicrafts and art works.

The day was packed with activities and provided an opportunity for intermingling and exchange of ideas between students from the two countries.
